Identifying good speed reading software

When you are choosing to use speed reading software, you will be overwhelmed by the number of different titles out there that claim to help you read faster. PowerReading, Eye Q Reading, FReader, the list goes on and on. Using is a good way to enhance your eye and brain activity. They usually have interactive games and exercises that users can easily use and learn. Good software should consist of the following:

* Speed Reading Tests - They usually display a page of text for you to read. They time you and tell how many words you have read per minute. * Comprehension reading tests - It is important that you don't lose comprehension when you are reading faster. This test is similar to the test, but it asks you additional questions to measure your level of comprehension. Tests should have many different levels that should be adjusted to fit your skill based on each test you take. * Variety of exercises such as games and tools - These programs are made to help mainly eye and brain movements. The purpose of the exercises is to increase the number of words you can see at a time. * Reading sessions and courses - Provides useful tips, advice, and encouragement to practice.

During the first few weeks of using speed reading software you will probably notice a decrease in comprehension as you are trying to read faster. This is perfectly normal, and should be ignored at first. Just keep practicing what you are doing until your brain catches up to your eyes.
